Launching Zodia, I was faced with the challenge of preparing visuals for the App Store Launch of the product. And follow up with a series of iterative tests to understand the audience. ‍ Zodia is a refreshing new app that’s all about finding the magic in understanding—of yourself and your relationships with others. It’s a judgement-free space for all to bond and deepen relationships. While the aesthetic of design is important, it’s just as vital that my designs deliver real results. The creative A/B testing has not only brought a better understanding of user preferences but also had a positive uplift in the conversion rates of the listing. After crafting hypothesis for testing, we went ahead with experimentation. Tests established that users resonate more towards finding compatibility between partnership vs friends. This little shift in layout brought +1.41% CVR uplift. Interestingly the high DAU feature of headlines did not bring positive uplifts while tested, which is a great testament why conducting experimentation should always be an essential part of the process.
